The shortage of, excessive prices, lack of insurance coverage, strong demand, and desperate consumers, has created the opportunity for a very lucrative international criminal enterprise for counterfeit weight loss medications. Zepbound and Mounjaro (tirzepatide – Lilly), Wegovy and Ozempic (semaglutide – Novo Nordisk), and Vicotza and Saxenda (liragulutide – Novo Nordisk) are all vulnerable. Not only that, but counterfeit non-sterile needles and delivery system pens are fabricated too.

A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF A CRIMINAL WEBSITE –>
I investigated the following product and website. Here’s what I found. First the images and then my comments.

EVERY ACTIVE LINK IN RED ON THIS PAGE POINTS BACK TO THEIR SALES WEBSITE! THEY MAKE IT SEEM SO LEGITIMATE! SEE THE SALES WEBISTE BELOW THIS IMAGE

SALES WEBSITE THAT EVERY RED LINK IN THEIR CONTENT POINTS TO THIS PAGE.

  1. This website does not appear on the legitimate ABC news website. They made it look like it’s on ABC, but it’s on this website: https://hayeswheel.com/a/s/IQ/product016/index?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=120212226942530398&utm_content=120212226942500398&utm_term=120212226942550398&fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0BMAABHd4GCFX3MIPKoF9PI636bxjfc6jvGV7kv5BDNavFmGe4dTf-osmrsFQstg_aem_dDOFCz2yninr9dVSa3c5YA&mibextid=WC7FNe

  3. There’s no such thing as a GLP-1 Metabolic Boost Drop.
  4. This product is not on the FDA-approved list of weight loss medications.
  5. They claim there are clinical trials of their product. I searched clinicaltrials.gov where every medical trial in the United States is listed. Nothing with this product exists.
  6. I called the phone number listed on the site several times. Every time a recording says the call cannot go through.
  7. Every active hyperlink on the pages in red points to their sales website.
  8. The Certificate of Registration is a fairy tale.
  9. The FDA registration number, when I searched for it, did not exist.
  10. You do not need a prescription and you do not have to consult with a physician.
  11. I tracked down the doctor they quoted. I emailed him to point me to articles, scientific papers, and studies about this product because I could not find any. He has not returned my email.

There are many problems with counterfeit medications.

  6. They sell non-sterile needles, sometimes insulin syringes without a pen.

  10. They are frequently sold inexpensively, often without even seeing a doctor, not even on tele-health.
