  1. 26-week Lifestyle Change Weight Control Group. This 75-minute weekly group is for anyone who has never been in any of our groups or for those of you who have participated in groups before but would like a fresh start. This is a group for you if you would like to lose weight or prevent regaining weight you’ve lost. You are welcome to join whether or not you are taking weight loss medication. A clinical psychologist, registered dietitian, and exercise physiologist run the group.

  2. 12-week Weight Loss Medication Support Group is a 75-minute group for people who are making the transition to weight loss medications or just considering taking one. The transition can be challenging as you experience improvement in appetite regulation; that is, you feel full, your food cravings and obsessing about food has stopped, you leave food on your plate, you experience less food noise in your head, you receive compliments about your appearance, and so much more. Yes, we’ve added 15 minutes to the group!

  3. 5-week Body Image Series. WE’VE ADDED 15 MINUTES SO THE GROUP RUNS FROM 6:00PM TO 7:15PM! Continuing on with the success of our previous 11 body image sessions, this 5-week series is designed to help individuals of all ages explore and improve your relationship with your body through the lens of self-compassion. Each week will focus on a different aspect of body image, offering you practical tools, reflective exercises, and supportive discussions to foster a healthier, more compassionate you!

  4. Webinars. Single-session 75-Minute Online Webinars where professionals from the fields of psychology, behavior change, nutrition, and exercise, present topics in their area of expertise related to losing weight or preventing regain. Webinars are for individuals enrolled in the program as well as individuals not enrolled in the program. A new autumn line-up of 8 webinars will be announced on Tuesday August 27!

  5. Exercise Class with Chris and Jamie Campagnola. This class is for beginners and experienced exercisers as well. It is a 45-minute online resistance training exercise class where Chris and Jamie will demonstrate and lead you through the exercises, and provide feedback and answer questions. They will show you how to perform resistance exercises with your own body weight or exercise tubing and bands.  

      6. 12-week Rainbow Follow-up Groups is for you if you have graduated from any of our programs and would like to lose more weight           or prevent regaining the weight you’ve lost. These 12-week “modules” restart every 12 weeks, offering you the  opportunity to                     renew as often as you like to continue treatment, or if you prefer, take some time off and check in later on when you feel you need           a tune-up. Some individuals religiously renew for one 12-week session once a year, while others have been with us continuously                 for more than a decade, some having attended more than fifty 12-week sessions! 

HAVE YOU LOST AND REGAINED WEIGHT BEFORE? Many of our participants have lost and regained weight multiple times, in some cases hundreds of pounds. We’re committed to helping you lose weight and prevent regaining it. Ninety-two percent of our participants lose weight, and over a 6-year period after our program, more than two-thirds continue to lose or prevent regaining the weight they lost.

Program Schedule

  • 26-week Lifestyle Change Weight Control Group
    • This group is for you if you are new to Transformation Weight Control or are a previous participant in one of our other groups and you want to lose weight or prevent regaining weight you’ve lost. You are welcome to join whether you are taking a weight loss medication or not.
    • Start date: Monday, November 18.
    • Time: 6:00pm to 7:15pm ET.
    • Leaders: Dr. Megan Pietrucha (clinical psychologist), Molly Wangsgaard, MS, RDN, LD, NSCA-CPT, CHWC, (Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Licensed Dietitian, National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Personal Trainer, and Certified Health & Well-being Coach), and Rich Weil, M.Ed. CDE (exercise physiologist and Certified Diabetes Educator)
    • Fee: $50 per session
    • This group is open to everyone… grads, individuals enrolled in the program, and individuals who are not.
    • PLEASE NOTE! IF WE DO NOT HAVE 16 PARTICIPANTS REGISTERED AND PAID BY WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 13 WE WILL POSTPONE THE START DATE UNTIL THE FIRST OR SECOND WEEK IN JANUARY OR UNTIL WE HAVE 16 PARTICIPANTS. Our experience is that starting weight loss groups too close to Thanksgiving through New Year’s is never a good idea.

       

  • 12-week Weight Control Medication Support Group.

    • A group is currently running but you can join at any time!

    • Leaders: Rich Weil M.Ed., CDE, (exercise physiologist and Certified Diabetes Educator), and Michelle Hyman MS, RD, CDN, CSOWM, CDCES, (Registered Dietitian, Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist, Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist), 
    • Fee: $45 per session
    • This group is open to everyone… grads, individuals currently enrolled in the program, and individuals who are not.
  • 5-week Body Image Series with Dr. Megan Pietrucha and Rich Weil, M.ED., CDE.
    • NEXT GROUP STARTS WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 11!
    • TIME: WE’VE ADDED 15 MINUTES SO THE GROUP RUNS FROM 6:00pm TO 7:15pm!
    • Leaders: Dr. Megan Pietrucha and Rich Weil, M.Ed., CDE
    • Fee: $30 per session

       

  • Webinars:
    • We have an exciting lineup of 8 webinars scheduled for autumn 2024 that will be announced on Tuesday, August 27. 
    • Anyone can attend, whether you are enrolled in the program or not. 
    • Fee: $30
    • Webinars are open to everyone… grads, individuals enrolled in the program, and individuals who are not.
    • IMPORTANT NOTE, PLEASE READ: Registration and payment for webinars and classes must be completed at least one week prior to the start date of the event. If we do not have 8 participants registered and paid by that deadline, then the webinar or class will be cancelled and money already paid will be refunded.
